Yes to the Knife

Both the proposal and the manuscript revisions are now finished (Yay! Please feel free to throw confetti and glitter!), and I’ve decided to leave the knife in because this way the ending nicely refers back to the first meeting of the protagonists: the heroine thinks all that’s needed to make him the hero in a gothic novel, is a blood-dripping knife. But in the end, it’s her who’s holding the blood-dripping knife. Cheekly subversive, isn’t it? *g*

PS: It won’t come as a surprise to you to hear that 15 minutes after finishing the stupid revisions, I’ve already started thinking that the new ending is crap, too.
