The Inspired Room has a great post on how to give your chair a quick new look. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present – the Chair Scarf.

And if you’ve never seen one of Mary’s tablescapes, you should head over to Little Red House asap and take a look at her lovely Easter brunch table. There you can also find proof that Americans have way prettier salt and pepper shakers than Germans.

Rhoda at Southern Hospitality has posted her yardsale finds for your viewing pleasure. Yard sales are another thing we don’t have in Germany. Which, if you ask me, is highly unfair!

And last but not least, the Nester has framed an antique fork. So if you happen to have oodles of silver forks and have no clue what to do with them, head over to Nesting Place and find out what a pretty picture a fork can make.

Don’t you have flea markets in your city? When I’m in Munich, one of my gretatest pleasures is to go to Olympiapark flea market (every Saturday, with hundreds of sellers). Very cheap and very rewarding… (last finds: big blue glass salad bowl: 1€, ski boots for younger son, good brand and like new: 3€, silicone cake molds: 1€ each… and much, much more)
