In the past few days I’ve been digging into books about Richard Doyle, one of the leading illustrators of the early Victorian age. And guess what I’ve just discovered: the National Library of Scotland offers a digital version of a journal of his on their website!!!! *swoons with happiness* The thing is called the “Log of the Ladye” and covers a journey into the highlands in 1859. And, of course, there are pictures, too! Woohooo!
