Greatest and most brilliant fictional hero of all times?
Hands down, Francis Crawford of Lymond.
As Julia Ross put it quite nicely and aptly in the dedication of her THE SEDUCTION: “Lymond will remain forever unequalled.”
Reading Dunnett’s The Lymond Chronicles made me discover my love for late medieval poetry; and most of the times thinking of “Tant que je vive” is enough to bring tears to my eyes. So you can imagine my utter delight when just now I discovered that there’s an anthology THE LYMOND POETRY. Oooooh, what joy!
